Don’t worry, be happy

I remembered what I was told by an English friend I knew when I became a disability leader due to cerebral hemorrhage.

There are times when Japanese people can’t say that they’re okay when they’re having a hard time, thinking too much about the feelings and circumstances of the other person, right?

I can’t say it, but when he looked at me in a wheelchair, he said:

“Don’t worry, be happy”

I really feel lightened.

I can’t speak English, but it’s a wonderful word.
